Middletown, RI – On July 23, 2021, KMS Solutions, LLC was awarded a $21.4 million, five-year contract to provide Systems Safety and Reliability and Maintainability Engineering Services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport Ranges, Engineering, and Analysis Department. Services include performing concept studies and analyses, requirements tracing and tagging, preliminary planning, and evaluation of alternative technical approaches in support of the engineering life cycle process.

Michael Martino Promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Technical Director of KMS Solutions, LLC

Arlington VA, April 2021–  KMS Solutions, LLC, announces that Mr. Michael J. Martino has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Technical Director. As COO and Technical Director, Mr. Martino will be responsible for all KMS business operations and business development efforts. Mr. Martino most recently served as the company’s Executive Vice President and Technical Director. A former US Navy civilian Engineer, Engineering/Program Manager, and Business Operations Director, Mr. Martino has technical and leadership experience in both the government and private sectors. KMS Solutions, LLC awarded $50.8 million Support Services contract for Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS)

Alexandria, VA On October 6, 2020, KMS Solutions, LLC was awarded a $50.8 million, five-year contract to provide Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) Support Services to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) Major Program Manager for Undersea Systems (IWS 5.0). SETA services, which support Undersea Warfare Systems (USW), Theater USW (TUSW), and Tactical Advancements for the Next Generation (TANG) efforts, require high-level skills and experience.

KMS Solutions, LLC Awarded Contract for Cybersecurity Services for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center Code 25

Middletown, RI (October 2018) – KMS Solutions, LLC was awarded a cybersecurity services contract in support of NUWCDIVNPT Code 25 projects which includes assessment and authorization, Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Environment Maintenance, Systems Security Engineering, Posture Transition Support, In-Service Engineer Agent (ISEA) Support, and Meeting Support. These services are for the development, evaluation, modernization, and sustainment of the U.S. Navy tactical and tactical support systems.

KMS Solutions Awarded $27.6 Million Contract for US Navy Training Requirements Work

Melbourne, Florida – KMS Solutions, LLC (KMS), a Subsystem Technologies, Inc. company, has been awarded a prime contractor task order by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and its Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport under the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort-e program. The total potential value of the award is $27.6 million over 5 years.

Under the terms of the contract, KMS will support the Navy Technical Training Audit Program (TTAP) requirements by performing technical training audits; provide training project management support; evaluate and assess commercial training techniques and solutions; provide configuration management (CM) support; and provide logistics support services that include: material packaging, shipping, receiving, inspection, and inventory and tracking of training systems components, from the time they are received through final Government acceptance.at Norfolk Naval Station in Virginia and KMS facilities. In addition KMS will provide project management support services to identify Navy training requirements for the proper planning and execution of Initial Install, Interim, and Life Cycle training for multiple ship classes to include the Littoral Combat Ship, Guided Missile Destroyers, Landing Helicopter Ships, Guided Missile Cruisers, Nuclear Aircraft Carriers, Amphibious Transport Ships, Expeditionary Mobile Base Ships, and Nuclear-Powered Submarines.

NUWC Division Newport is the Navy’s full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), engineering, and fleet support center for surface and submarine warfare systems associated with the undersea battlespace.
