SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Prototyping, Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Financial Management, and Program Management. KMS has won multiple SeaPort-e Task Orders as a Prime Contractor and serves as a subcontractor on several others.

Engineering
As our country seeks to modernize our military platforms to face more sophisticated military challenges, KMS engineers are developing innovative solutions to ensure military supremacy. From systems engineering and weapons development to cyber security solutions for industrial platforms, we develop and apply science and technology associated with naval architecture and marine engineering and provide support to the maritime industry.
Technical Services
With modern technology now carefully integrated into every function of our military platforms, there is a growing need and demand for technical services to ensure operational success. KMS provides technical services pertaining to the management, planning, systems engineering, integration, testing and evaluation in support of operational and future submarines and shore sites.
Cyber
One of the greatest threats to our military platforms and Homeland infrastructure is cyber security. KMS provides highly qualified cyber experts to analyze threats and create Systems Engineering Cyber requirements, Risk Management Frameworks (RMF), Validation, compliance policies and processes and Asymmetrical Cyber Security Strategies to lower risk and raise resiliency of our critical weapons platforms and critical infrastructure.
Logistics and Facility Maintenance Services
KMS provides required, site logistics, operations, scientific, engineering, technical, and administrative services needed to efficiently and effectively support the facility’s operations, data acquisition system(s), the offshore test range(s), underwater systems, boats, vehicles, and associated material and weight handling equipment in support of all SFOMF activities. Support also includes the maintenance and upkeep of the on-water facilities and assets used to support the waterfront project and RDT&E test activities. Services are needed in support of SFOMF’s underwater testing ranges, associated underwater and shore side assets, marine vehicles, designs, studies, equipment maintenance, and operations throughout the year.
Test and Evaluation Services
Our company is dedicated to ensuring the safety, accuracy, development of on-water and under water assets. We work with our customers to provide planning, design, development, and setup of test related systems/hardware and support during the conduct of test activities. This includes concept studies and analysis, requirement definitions, preliminary planning, evaluation of alternative technical approaches, and analysis of the associated costs for the development and enhancement of high level general performance specifications of combat, surveillance or undersea tracking range systems. We conduct the analysis of system safety aspects and support for survivability and at-sea testing.
