Alexandria, VA, February 22, 2023 – KMS Solutions, LLC has won a $6M U.S. Navy subcontract fulfilling the Department of Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, Navy Surface Warfare Center Carderock, MD’s requirements for Intelligent Systems Engineering Services for the Towed Acoustic Sensor Program to Detect Submarine Activity. This is a subcontract to a $28M contract awarded to ManTech Advanced Systems International, Inc., with KMS supporting from offices in Virginia Beach, VA.
The U.S. Navy TATE systems are integral to meeting and maintaining Navy Concept of Operations (CONOPS) functionality. These systems will be used to maintain consistent towed array (TA) calibrations and support development of all Navy towed array and sonar assets for submarines and surface ships.
