Mr. Martino joined KMS in October 2014 and heads the firm as the Technical Director and Chief Operating Officer at its Middletown, Rhode Island office. Prior to joining KMS he was a Senior Program and Engineering Manager for Purvis Systems. Mr. Martino is a former career US Navy civilian Engineer, Supervisory Engineer, Program Manager and Business Operations Manager for an entire Directorate organization at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport.

Leading KMS, as its Chief Operating Officer and Technical Director, Mr. Martino provides technical leadership and direction for tasks and personnel in the areas of Military Systems Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems Engineering, Range Operations and Major Program Acquisition Support. He provides day-to-day management and technical/programmatic direction on programs supporting all efforts of current and future US Navy , DoD and industry partners.

Mr. Martino is an American Society for Quality (ASQ), Certified Software Quality Engineer and an Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Certified Software Development Professional and certified SEI-CMM assessor. As Software Engineering Manager , he led a major NUWCDIVNPT organization to a successful CMM rating . He serves as a principal KMS Subject Matter Expert in the areas of Undersea Warfare (USW), Naval Combat Systems, and USW System Acquisition.

His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering, an Executive Development Institute Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
